Posts about our hike on the Via degli Dei in May 2023.  The route runs from Bologna to Florence over the Appenine mountains.  A number of the peaks are named after gods, giving the path its name. There is no fixed route across the mountains with travellers taking five or six days to cross the 140km based on the weather and the particular path they choose.
